Hilton’s parole snafu and Richie’s DUI arrest could land the best buds behind bars.

Things aren’t so simple for Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie these days: Both stars are facing possible slammer time, stemming from DUI incidents. On February 27, Hilton was cited for driving on a suspended license, a possible parole violation of a September 2006 alcohol-related arrest (she pleaded no contest). If found guilty, the heiress, 26, faces a maximum of 90 days in jail, while Richie, 25 – who was caught last December driving the wrong way down an L.A. freeway – could be sentenced to a mandatory 96 days. (She has pleaded not guilty; a pre-trial hearing is set for April 2.)

NOW (2 P.M.): After a night of club hopping, the two often roll out of their queen-size beds and cruise to L.A.’s Robertson Boulevard to shop at trendy boutiques Alice + Olivia and Lisa Kline.

NOW (12 A.M.): With their Sidekicks and cellphones glued to their hips, Hilton and Richie can often be spotted sipping vodka and Red Bull with their latest respective beaus, Stavros Niarchos, 21, and Joel Madden, 28, at exclusive L.A.-area hot spots like Hyde lounge, Guy’s Bar and Area nightclub.
