The fact is, most Hollywood women have to make it big in their twenties if they are ever going to make it big (unlike in the real world, where women advance in their professional lives in their thirties and forties). So making time for romance can be tricky.

“If you meet someone you like and your chance to get to know them is 10 days in a row now, and then no contact for two months, and then 10 days in person after that, it creates a lot of problems,” says Grove of actor’s on-and-off work patterns.

Taking time for romance might mean taking time off from work, a price that celebs who have spent years to achieve fame might be reluctant to pay. “There’s a lot of pressure to get in the spotlight,” says Daniels. “You have to capitalize on that because it can change in an instant.” Adds Pinsky, “The stress of losing your celebrity – or even the possibility of losing it – is worrisome to celebrities. ”
